Mentalist Season 7 News Release, Reveals, Plot and Updates: Lisbon to Meet her Two Brothers who Prove to be a Handful

There has been a lot which has been going on since the seventh installment of the Mentalist was announced on May 10th.  There are a number of questions which still need to be answered for example, if this is going to be the last chapter for the California Bureau of Investigations. Towards the end of last year, Tim Yang who plays the role of special agent Cho tweeted, "This is our 7th and final season. Looking at the scripts now, it's so fun and such a great season!" So maybe this might this   might be the last season of the show since even Show-runner, Bruno Heller, himself stated that this is going to be the season where everyone gets their closure.

The seventh season is going to have 13 episodes. The first episode of the series is going to premiere with "Nothing But Blue Skies" which has not yet been confirmed for a release date. There is a spoiler from Unreality Primetime which suggests that the fans are finally going to see Agent Teresa Lisbon's brothers. Lisbon previously met her younger brother Tommy Lisbon in the fourth season and it did not seem like the two got off to the right foot. She still disapproves of Tommy's job title. Similarly, her familial bond with her brother prevails as she is still trying to take care of him.

TV Line also revealed that the other two siblings will be called Jimmy and Stan. The site also stated that Jimmy will be the younger brother and Stan, the older.  Of course, the younger will be the rebellious one, a gambler who happens to witness a murder and is now being sought by the federal government. Stan at the same time is a mild mannered family man characteristic who may have had knowledge considering some of his brother's activities. This should weigh down upon Lisbon who at this time is focusing on her relationship with Jane.
