The much anticipated Originals Season 2 has already gotten a premiere date and fans are eagerly waiting to be reacquainted with the Mikaelson family. The return of Mikael, the founding father, Esther (mother to Klaus, Elijah, Finn and Rebecca) these are the highlights of the upcoming season. Season one of the Originals ended in a shift in power in the French quarter in New Orleans as the Werewolves are now the ruling power while the Vampires were forced into hiding but we know that Klaus-the Hybrid vampire-werewolf- does not go down without a fight.
CW's the Originals is set to premiere on 6th October and fans are anticipating an intense, drama filled and blood spilling Pilot episode but this could not be the case. Julie Plec, creator behind "The Vampire Diaries" spin off has up her game to make a successful season 2 of the Originals that she promises will keep fans edged to their seats.
Some spoilers; According to season two's synopsis which was released on twitter explained that the storyline of the upcoming season 2 will focus around Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley (phoebe Tonkin) who will wage war on the new controlling powers of New Orleans so as to make the city safe for their daughter Hope who everyone thought was killed in season 1 finale during the large massacre. Hope was secretly taken out of the city and given to Rebecca to take care off. The new parents will have to face their inner demons as well as the evils lurking in the city.
Season two will feature a family reunion as Mikael (Sebastian Roche) returns as Davina's (Danielle Campbell) vampire hunter puppet. Esther (Alice Evans) will return in the body of a teenage witch. Mikael is still hell bent on killing Klaus while in contrast Esther intends to reunite the family. Rebecca is also expected to feature in the upcoming season 2 which means we will be seeing baby Hope. To everyone's surprise Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) will make a comeback in season 2.
Season two is also set to feature new faces and also a cross over with the Vampire diaries as Plec revealed that Nina Dobrev will feature in season two of The Originals.
Originals season 2 premieres on the CW on October 6th at 8 p.m. ET.
