'Boardwalk Empire' Season 5 Episode 5 'King of Norway' Recap: Surprised Everyone! Chalky Returns With Vengeance Plus Sneek Peak of Episode 6 [Video]
The last season of Boardwalk Empire has proven to be very interesting. Boardwalk Empire Episode 5 entitled "The King of Norway" is written by Steve Kornacki and is directed by Ed Bianchi, Celeb Dirty Laundry reports. It follows the event in three different cities - Chicago, New York, and Atlantic City.
In episode 5, Chalky returned in Atlantic City with a plan for revenge. Many things are happening at the same time - Nucky is meeting with Maranzano in New York, while in Chicago, Eli and June is busy attending a dinner party, being hosted by Nelson and Sigrid.
Vengeance seems to be the central theme of the "Boardwalk Empire" episode 5. Nucky finally found out that Sally is dead, although, it still has no major effect on the story. Still, Nucky learning of Sally's death over the phone surprised everyone. It is obvious that Kornacki wanted to show the complexities of family dynamics and how it overlaps.
Nicky's days on the show may be numbered too, following Steve Buscemi's admission that he's ready to move on from the role.
Steve Buscemi told Zap2it that he's ready to move on. Steve Buscemi plays the role of Nicky. Buscemi said, "No, I think I'll be OK to move on. To play a character for this long presents its own challenges. I've had a great time and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to play this amazing character and then to really explore -- like I had the time to really explore a lot of facets of his psyche and personality. But I think as sad as I am that it's ending, I'm also excited to be moving on as well."
The episode, as cited by Arts Beat, leads to more questions - is it Margaret turn to run the company? Is Nicky going to avenge Sally's death or will he just focus on Margaret and their renewed vows for each other? Is Maranzano alive or is there another massacre?
Fans are hopeful that in the next episode of Boardwalk Empire titled "Devil You Know" and with only a few episodes left, fans are holding on tight to their seats to find out what's going to happen. Enjoy a sneak peek for "Boardwalk Empire" Season 5 Episode 6:
