iPhone 6 Reveals, Reviews, Specs and Updates: Larger Screen and Curved edges Provide for more Comfortable Device
Just when you thought Apple would not give in to the consumer pressure, they launch larger format devices. It makes one wonder what the tenth version of the iPhone will look like or how big it will be. Yes the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus add larger screens and build sizes. They also add a couple of other features to already big list of toys available with the device models.
Design: the iPhone 6 is comfortable and light and thus quite comfortable to hold. It measures about 138x67x6.9mm and 129 grams. The handset also has rounded corners which makes it comfortable to hold for long duration calls or when viewing media.
Display: the phone is of a larger build and that means that it is treated to a 4.7 inch screen. The device also comes available with Retina HD display for 1334x750 pixels. LED-backlit widescreen display is available with multi touch as well as in-plane switching (IPS).
Performance: the iPhone 6 comes available with the brands new A8 chip which has the news 64 BIT ARM base. There is also an updates M8 coprocessors which look after the sensors. This provides for 50 percent faster graphics as compared to the previous models.
Software: How can we forget the latest toy from Apple that showcased with the devices, the iOS 8. The latest version of the iOS platform comes pre-installed for the iPhone 6 and there are a couple of new features. For one, the iOS 8 has support for third party on screen keyboards which allows for the user to type by sliding their finger from letter to letter and learns as the person writes.
Applications: the brand has also included a lot of awesome apps for the model noteworthy to iOS 8. For example, there is the Health app which is good for fitness oriented users. They can keep track of their weight, calorie intake and exercise. There is also a medical ID feature which lets one put their emergency contact numbers, blood type and organ donor preference.
