Transformers 5 Release Date: Megan Fox Speculated To Return For The Upcoming Sequel 

The success of the past four Transformers movies were highly anticipated from fans around the world. The previous movie 'Transformers 4: Age of Extinction' has been a major box office hit in cinemas earning $243 million at the US box office, while earning $1.3 billion worldwide. .

The fifth installment of the franchise is expect to hit the big screen once again in the Summer of 2017.

The movie will go through major overhaul again as Michael Bay announced that he will not return to direct the fifth installment.

According to breathecast.com, Bay just confirmed that he will not be sitting in the director's chair to film the movie for the reason that he has other film projects to do. Hours before the premiere of the Age of Extinction, he already announced the news about his plans.

He initially stated that 'There's a lot that's unexplored, but that's for the next director to figure out. They are hard movies to do and it takes every day for two years. They are fun, but they are hard.'

The identity of the next director is still unconfirmed; giving the producers a hard time to brainstorm and choose one that can fill and surpass Bay's brilliant and fast-paced style in cinematography.

Age of Extinction lead actor Mark Wahlberg will not return either. He said that he's not interested anymore about continuing his role in the "Transformer" franchise for the reason that he prefers doing standalone films rather than movie installment.

Meanwhile, speculations are circulating  among movie fans that star Megan Fox will be returning for the fifth movie, but are still in highest doubts, since she is starring in the upcoming film 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles', another movie directed by Michael Bay as well.

The complete plot of the 5th movie is not yet officially released but it is safe to say that the storyline of the next movie would be pick up from where the Age of Extinction had left us.
