In a recent interview with the Daily Beast, Renner mentioned, "I think most actors will sign on to do, like... 'Captain America' 1-3 and then 'The Avengers' 1-3, and then you're done. For me, I signed on to The Avengers 1-3 and then Hawkeye, in case they want to do a Hawkeye spin-off."

There is no Hawkeye movie release date yet, but the buzz is strong to let Marvel re-think about the upcoming movie. A possible film with the Black Widow, Scarlett Johannson, is also being eyed on, if a solo won't push through. Either way, fans sure are pretty excited for good news soon coming from Marvel.

Renner's friend and Avenger's castmate, Scarlett Johannson is also being groomed for a solo Black Widow movie. Renner, upon hearing this, has high praises for female superheroes, stating, "I absolutely agree. I love strong female characters, and I think it's really important... Strong female roles in cinema are hugely important to me. A lot of them seem to just service the guy, and it's a travesty. You need to strike a good balance between the men and women in a movie, because that's when things really ignite."

Among the Avengers cast, only Hawkeye and Black Widow, has yet to star on a solo film. According to Yahoo, ""Right. I think that's why they want a Hawkeye/Widow movie so bad," Renner said.
