Dragon Age Inquisition Reveals and Updates: Bioware Provides Dragon Age: Origins' Free Game Download via Origin Client to Increase Publicity for Upcoming Game
Bioware's art director believes that the studio is pushing the X Box 360 and PS3 harder than before for the upcoming release of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Apparently, as the developers and the publishers are honoring the last generation with one last event by throwing all of the resources at the new PS4 and X box One consoles. Bioware is planning to leave a good corpse on the last generation consoles. According to Neil Thompson, director of art and animation at Bioware, "We've probably pushed them further than we ever have before." He added, "When you're trying to take a gen 4 experience and put it on a gen 3 console without compromise then by necessity you're pushing those consoles really hard."
As such, the latest addition to the Dragon Age franchise is set to come out on 18th on November, with an upcoming game entitled 'Dragon Age: Inquisition." In light of this it seems the developers have allowed for a free download promotion of one of their titles, 'Dragon Age: Origins" via EA's Origin client.
The ones who download a copy of the game to their origin library will be able to keep the game indefinitely, at least according to reports from Breathcast. Dragon Age: Origins happens to be a single player title and it may still ask the player to log in before they can enjoy the game. On the other hand, the announcement about the free download should put any apprehensions about logging in to rest. It seems this is a promotional move on their side to hype the upcoming addition for the series. This post went on to mention that the game is going to be available for pre-order as it draws even nearer to the release date. This upcoming title is going to be the third game as concerns the franchise and it is definitely getting a lot of attention. Based on the reviews for the origins game, a lot of gamers are looking forward to see what the next game is going to be like.
