'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies': Will it surpass the earnings of 'The Lord of the Rings'?
The hit film series Lord of the Rings earned a total of 2.9 billion dollars! The first film, which was (Fellowship of the Ring) earned 871 million; the second film (The Two Towers) took home 926 million and the last film (The Return of the King) got 1.1 billion earnings.
The big question is will 'The Hobbit' trilogy surpass that mark? The first movie (Unexpected Journey) earned a whooping one billion while the second movie (The Desolation of Smaug) only earned around 958 million. Will "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" earn more than a billion to reach the mark? With the explosive narrative and a fantastic ending, it might just do that!
"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies", the last part of the classic story written by J.R.R. Tolkien, is about to be uncovered. Who will live and who will die?
The last piece of the narrative will end the heart-stopping adventure of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman). But before the adventure ends, Bilbo, Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and the brave Dwarves will have to fight in the deadly battle against diabolical Sauron and his brigade of Orcs. Taking back their native land from the Dragon Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch) in Hobbit Two is a walk in the park compared to the inevitable battle with Sauron. Will the group unite one last time for this one last battle? Will Middle-earth survive?
But the "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" is not just about the fight with Sauron (Benedict Cumberbatch). Another difficult battle the story unfolds is the greediness of men! A battle each one of us has to face head on. Thorin, overpowered with greed for frivolous things like gold and silver, disregards integrity, honor and brotherhood. Bilbo, knowing that greedy Thorin is not the real Thorin, had to make difficult decision; a decision that might end their friendship.
To win the last battle, other characters will help Thorin, the Dwarves and Bilbo. They are Gandalf (Ian McKellen); Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood); Legolas (Orlando Bloom); Bard (Luke Evans); Thranduil (Lee Pace); Elrond (Hugo Weaving); Saruman (Christopher Lee) and Galadriel (Cate Blanchett).
"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" is the master work of Peter Jackson. Jackson together with Fran Walsh, Guillermo del Toro and Philippa Boyens wrote the final screenplay.
Be part of the last adventure of the hobbit! Clear your calendar!
