Selena Gomez Releases New Music Video for "Hold On" with Ben Kweller From 'Rudderless' Movie Trailer Releasing Oct 2014, Watch Here (VIDEO)

Selena Gomez and Ben Kweller have released a stripped down music video for their duet song "Hold On" which will be featured on the upcoming Rudderless movie that releases next weekend. Gomez voice sounds great on the acoustic-vibe song, would be great to see her record more music like this. You can check out the video with Kweller above. 

Selena Gomez stars in the upcoming movie Rudderless and she shows deep emotion in the first trailer released. You can check out the movie trailer HERE. 

This is the directorial debut from William H. Macy and includes his wife, Felicity Huffman, in the movie we all. Along with Gomez, the film stars Billy Crudup,  Anton Yelchin, Felicity Huffman, Jamie Chung, and Laurence Fishburne.

Rudderless is set to release to theaters and video on demand on October 17th. 

Plot: Sam is a former high-profile advertising executive whose life has been torn apart by the tragic death of his son. Off the grid, living on a docked sailboat, he drowns his pain in alcohol. When Sam discovers a box filled with his son's demo tapes and lyrics, his own child's musical talent is a revelation for him, a grieving father who felt he'd been absent from his son's life. Communing with his deceased son's dashed dreams, Sam learns each song and eventually musters the will to play one at a local bar. When Quentin, a young musician in the audience, is captivated by the song, the unlikely duo forms a rock band that becomes surprisingly popular and changes both of their lives.

Principal photography started on April 21, 2013 in Oklahoma City and Guthrie, Oklahoma. Scenes were shot at University of Central Oklahoma. Filming wrapped on May 26, 2013.

Rudderless is bound to have a great soundtrack including all of the songs that will make this movie special.
