The Voice Season 7 Spoilers, Rumors, Reveals and Updates: Battle Rounds Part 1, Teams and Performance Details
The voice season 7 has introduced some good talent in the first stage of the competition which are the Blind Auditions. The four judges who include Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams are to continue to be part of the show as judges of the 12 member teams. It was only last week that the show wrapped up the blind auditions and the judges finalized their teams after selecting the 48 artists during the first round of the competition. Each of the teams at the present only has 12 members now.
These Battle Rounds are one of the most crucial and exciting stages of the show. This round is going to see the coaches judge the talent and narrow what is there before going on to the next round. From what we know about the Season 7 Battle Rounds for Team Adam, Chris Jamison is going to be paired alongside Jonathan Wyndham. The two perform 'Young Girls' by Bruno Mars. Alessandro Castronovo and Joe Kirk are singing 'Stay' by Rihanna ft Mikky Ekko
As for Team Blake, Craig Wayne and James David Carter are going to perform "Wave on Wave" by Pat Green, Justin Johnes and Tanner Linford are going to do "You and I" by One Direction. At this time, Grant Ganzer and John Martin will compete against each other and do 'Stop and Stare' by One Direction.
Team Pharrell will be characterized by Griffin and Luke Wade paired to perform "Maybe I'm Amazed" by Paul McCartney. Jordy Searcy and Taylor Phelan are going to perform 'Breakeven' by the Script. As for Team Gwen, Amanda Lee Peers and Taylor John Williams are paired together and they will sing Jolene by Dolly Parton. Jean Kelley and Sugar Joans have also been paired together and they will sing 'Survivor' by Destiny's Child. The Battle Rounds are going to premiere today, which will be followed by the second pair of Battles on Tuesday. To find out who stays and who goes, tune in to NBC at 8:00 p.m. ET.
