'Better Call Saul' Release Date: February 2015 and Other Updates about the TV Series
For avid and extreme fans of the hit "Breaking Bad" TV series who thought that there would never be another show like it, you may just be in for a surprise. According to KpopStarz, the confirmed "Better Call Saul" will be taking place February next year, which is a little less than 4 months from now. For those who are interested, read on to find out other updates about this new and upcoming TV series from AMC, which is also home to "The Walking Dead," another successful show.
As KPop Stars has reported, the latest update for "Better Call Saul" is in the form of the recently released music video that was uploaded via YouTube. So far, this music video gives viewers the most information about the show, and, as the website has pointed out, some of the parts of the clip may actually be spoilers.
As The Christian Post has cited, the music video has Junior Brown, the country singer, singing to the following chorus lines:
"Saul, Saul, you better call Saul / He'll fight for your rights when your back's to the wall / He'll stick it to the man, justice for all / You better call Saul."
Before the music video for "Better Call Saul" was released, AMC actually unveiled two different teaser trailers for it and according to Telegraph, the first one was a 10-seconder video clip titled "Amen." As the site has reported, four seconds of the video contains actual footage, as viewers will see Bob Odenkirk within the walls of a courtroom. This teaser trailer was also uploaded via YouTube.
As for the second teaser trailer that just came out very recently, Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan talked about how the Saul Goodman role was given to Jimmy McGill. In this 30-second teaser trailer, McGill (who is already playing the role of Saul), explained that, "I don't go looking for guilty people to represent." He then continues to say that, "Who needs that aggravation, right?"
In an EOnline interview, Bob Odenkirk stated that, "Everything is new to me. I didn't know any of this story about the character." He also said that, "I'm learning a lot about this guy, and everyone's going to learn a lot about him because it's all new story. Vince Gilliganand Peter Gould have brought what everyone loved about Breaking Bad to Better Call Saul, all those cliffhanger moments, the tension, it's all there and I think the fans are going to be super glad to have that back in their life."
