New Blackberry Q20 Update: Blackberry Classic Release Date Shifts to Early 2015, Specs, Features and Price of BlackBerry Q20

Blackberry Q20 or BlackBerry Classic was previously said to launch anytime in November, but based on the recent Q20 news, it appears that the release date may move to early 2015.

The Classic, as the name suggests, brings back the physical navigation keys and trackpad of its old predecessors. The prototype images of the BlackBerry Classic are already spreading in the worldwide web, and here is what we know about the upcoming Blackberry so far.

CEO John Chen already confirmed the product in a June event. He says the BlackBerry 20 takes back the 'belt', just above the QWERTY keyboard, since users were looking for this feature in the Q10. The new BlackBerry also has a 3.5 inch screen with 1,440 x 1,440 pixels screen resolution and a 582 ppi pixel density. It also has a dual-core processor at 1.5 GHz with a 2GB RAM. It will now support NFC and 4G LTE. The better news is that the new BlackBerry will be priced at an entry level. BlackBerry Classis is leaning towards the business use appeal.

Based on the prototype images, the new BlackBerry appears to have stereo speakers and external nano-SIM or microSD card slots. It is also said that Q20 has better color reproduction than the previous Q10, and that the new Blackberry is using the 10.3 OS update, which is supposedly an unreleased OS. It also seems thinner than the 9900 we know. The keyboard also seems easier to use, offering a better typing experience.

As for the price, BlackBerry Q20 is going to cost around $235 to $250 with contract.
