'Captain America 3': Captain America v Iron Man to Take-off in 2016
After the success of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", Marvel once again brings to the big screen its First Avenger.
"Captain America 3" is an upcoming American action superhero film, which features the first Avenger, Captain America. It will serve as the sequel 2014's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" as well as the third installment to the Captain America Film Series.
The upcoming adventure film cast members include Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/ Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier, and Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/ Falcon. Robert Downey Jr. will also star as Tony Stark/Iron Man. According to Variety, Marvel and Stark are in 'final negotiations' for Captain America 3 and it was revealed that Iron Man would be the antagonist in the story. Stark will also playing a huge role as he will bring the Civil War to the big screen, which will ignite the "new phases of movies" from Marvel Studios.
Civil War features Tony Stark and Steve Rogers on conflicting sides of the Superhero registration Act, a United States political initiative that forces all super-humans to reveal their identities and become employees of the government, after an incident concerning superheroes end in disaster. Marvel tweeted about the Civil War event in summer 2015.According to Badass Digest, the events in Captain America will "reshape the Marvel Cinematic Universe." The Red Skull returns to the Marvel films and a big role for Bucky, the Winter Soldier, are also rumored.
The film is set to be directed by Joseph Russo and Anthony Russo, with Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus serving as screenwriters. After the known success of Captain America: The First Avenger, McFreely and Marcus were tasked to write the second installment The Winter Soldier. An now, they are combining ideas for the third installment, according to Screenrant.
Meanwhile, Marvel fans will witness the First Avenger team up with the rest of the Avengers ion Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" on May 1, 2015. Marvel officially announced that the forthcoming film is set to be distributed by Marvel and released in theaters and cinemas on May 6, 2016.
