Taylor Swift Shares Behind the Scenes Footage From Her 1989 Secret Sessions with Fans, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Taylor Swift has been sharing glimpses on social media of her 1989 Secret Sessions that she has been doing with fans. Now we get to see a video of some of the magic including Taylor personally baking cookies, taking pictures and dancing with her fans. The 24-year-old singer hand-picked 89 fans for each city's event, which were held at her homes across the United States, as well as a space in London.
The video truly seems like she cares about her fans and wants to give back to them. It just appears like a night of friends hanging out.
Taylor just released her second song off of her new pop album this week, titled "Out of The Woods" after the success of "Shake It Off." Taylor's album 1989 will drop October 27, and fans can pre-order it on iTunes. There has been speculation that this song is about One Direction's Harry Styles.
"This was a relationship where I was kind of, living day to day, wondering where it was going, if it was going to go anywhere, if it was going to end the next day," the 24-year-old entertainer said of the relationship surrounding the song. "It was a relationship where you, kind of, never feel like you're standing on solid ground"
The song "stresses that even if a relationship is breakable and fragile and full of anxiety, it doesn't mean that it isn't worthwhile, exciting, beautiful, and all the things that we look for."
The song was co-written and produced by FUN guitarist Jack Antonoff. Fans can purchase "Out of the Woods" on iTunes by clicking here. Swift's full album1989 is scheduled for release on October 27.
Swift's first single "Shake It Off" immediately went to No.1 on the Billboard 100.
Taylor shared that the reason for the title was that it is her birth date (December 13, 1989) but also that she likes to have two years in between albums to see her growth in her Yahoo live interview with fans. She shared that her new album would be her first full on pop album and inspired from the music of the 80's that she has been listening to.
"I really loved the chances they were taking. I loved how bold it was," she said. "It was, apparently, a time of limitless potential. ... The idea of endless possibility was kind of a theme in the last year of my life."
