'Sex and the City' News Update: 'SATC' Writer Jenny Bicks Reacts to Chris Noth's Calling Carrie Bradshaw Whore
"She was such a whore!" Chris Noth said of Sarah Jessica Parker during his interview with the Australian Outlet. Noth was the one who played the role of Mr. Big in the "Sex and the City" HBO series.
"Sex and the City" writer Jenny Bicks reacted on this statement released to Buzzfeed, "Oh my God, that's such a 'Big' thing to say!"
However, Noth said it should not be taken seriously because it's just a joke. That is not meant to be personal against Sarah Jessica Parker, he just commented Parker a whore towards the character played by Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw.
In the end, Jenny Bicks agreed to Noth's statement, not with the "whore" thing but on how strong and smart Carrie is. "I will totally agree with Chris on the fact that Carrie was a strong, smart woman," she continued. Since the day, Noth called Carrie a whore, he immediately issued a statement that it's not meant for SJP actually, that's for Carrie's character and it's just a joke, not to be taken the other way around.
According to Daily News,"Sex and the City" co-creator Michael Patrick King said that Noth has greatest affection with SJP and they are friends. So, by those who do not know the relationship of the two personally might take this seriously and it's really a "Big" mistake.
About the rumors to have "Sex and the City" movie, well Noth said that he must admit, he love as well as hate the show. "It feels like 'Sex and the City' stuck in a way that I could never escape," he said.
He continued that being with the show changes his life completely and good thing that the fans of 'Sex and the City' really love Mr. Big and the fans never got over him. However, he said that he knows one point in his life he needs to change Mr. Big's image.
He was also the star cast of "Law & Order" and "The Good Wife." His image in those two films remained to be with him. Hence, maybe with his character in the series "Sex and the City" he wants that to be changed.
