Bloodborne PS4 Update: PlayStation Head Executive Scott Rohde on Bloodborne Visuals, Bloodborne Release Date, Plot, Gameplay and Review

The Bloodborne game is set for a release date on February 6, 2015. The game will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4. The game director, Hidetaka Miyazaki, is already known for directing other popular video games such as the "Demon's Souls" and the "Dark Souls".

Just recently, the PlayStation's head executive Scott Rohde commented on the visuals of the upcoming Bloodborne game:

"The way it looks; just off the charts to me. It has, I've said this before ... there's a certain, like, wetness to that game. I don't know what other word to use. It just feels like everything is dripping and oozing with whatever it is--it's water, it's blood, it's whatever it is; and it just looks gorgeous."

As for the gameplay, compared to Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, the Bloodborne has a totally different gameplay; the combat is faster and focuses greatly on the offensive role. The player can also move more freely than the other two mentioned video games. The game is also unique in the sense that the player can regain a portion of his health by striking back at enemies.

As for the game plot, the Bloodborne revolves around a ruined city of Yharnam. Many travelers have gone to the city to seek for a potent medical remedy, and a game player takes the role as one of these travelers. However, the twist of the game is that, once you arrive to Yharnam, you realize that the city is full of bestial creatures, plagued by a certain illness that turned citizens into such creatures. Your main goal: to survive amidst these horrifying creatures.

Around a week ago, the game was made available for Alpha testing, and one of the testers uploaded his gameplay video. How was it? The upcoming Bloodborne game is "downright terrifying".
