OBB Celebrates Christmas with New EP "Feelin' Like Christmas"
Christian pop group OBB has just released their debut Christmas EP "Feelin' Like Christmas." Released by Curb Records, the three-song set is produced by Justin Ebach. The set features two original selections penned by OBB and Ebach, as well as a fresh arrangement of "Go Tell It On The Mountain."
"Our family loves Christmas; it's our favorite holiday," Oswald continues. "Being together to celebrate and remember Jesus-God's amazing gift to us- is what it's all about. We sip eggnog and hot cocoa, watch Christmas movies together, and even get our neighborhood involved in the fun. In that spirit, we hope these Christmas songs help people remember the true meaning of the season as they celebrate."
The project's title cut offers a glimpse into the band's favorite sights and sounds of the season, while "Christmas Card To You" is a musical greeting encouraging listeners to embrace holiday traditions. "One of my favorite lines in 'Christmas Card To You' talks about not being too cool for caroling," explains OBB's Zach Oswald. "Don't be embarrassed- just get out there and enjoy the experience and share the Love God wants us to remember."
Comprised of brothers Zach (lead vocals/keys/guitar), Jacob (lead guitar) and Nich Oswald (drums), OBB rocketed into the spotlight last year with a GMA Dove Award nomination and a slot on NewSong's juggernaut Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, opening for some of the biggest acts in Christian music. Signed by Curb Records in 2012 after gaining national notoriety on CBS Early Show's "Singing Family Face-Off," OBB's acclaimed self-titled EP released last year.
