NEEDTOBREATHE Is Ready For All The Feels Tour Part 3, 'Acoustic'
It was last Friday that the last stage of Grammy-nominated band NEEDTOBREATHE's All The Feels Tour Part 2, 'THE BEST ROCK CLUBS IN AMERICA.' They are already ready to run the last segment of three-legs of "Under the Stars," "Electric" and, for the first time, "Acoustic."
The Acoustic tour officially kicks off on Wednesday, November 29 in Charleston, S.C. at Charleston Music Hall. The four-month-long tour will see its end at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville TN.
Meanwhile, Josh Lovelace, the keyboardist of the group released his first family album, “Young Folk." This children album has songs dedicated to his 4-year-old boy Henry and 1-year-old girl Margo.
“I started writing songs for him early on when he was born to make every day better, to make it more musical, to give melody and rhythm to things we were experiencing as a family,” Lovelace said to The Daily Times. “The first one I remember writing for him was ‘Blanket,’ and I remember sitting in a chair in his nursery with him when he was barely a month old, singing, ‘I’m gonna wrap you up in a blanket ...’ Honestly, it was just an expression from a dad to his son, reassuring a kid that I’m gonna be there with him forever — that in some way, shape or form, I’m gonna love him forever. That was the beginning — figuring out what I wanted to say to my kids first, and how that applies to other families and how they can sing it to their kids.”
"This record is a love letter to my kids," Josh says. "I hope it's a special thing for them to cherish. When I'm on the road, their dad's voice fills the room, even when he's thousands of miles away. But also, songs have lives of their own, and I'm excited for other people to hear the songs, and maybe adopt them as a part of their family too."
