Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Receives New System Upgrade Android 4.4.2 Kitkat XXUFNF4; New and Exciting Features Included in the Upgrade, Such as Emojis, Apps, and Updates
Buyers of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 were ecstatic to receive the system upgrade to Android 4.4.2. Kitkat XXUFNF4. This update includes many new and exciting features. There is a brand new lock screen that sports shortcuts to music and camera accessibility.
There is also now the option to use a default messaging app. A new selection of emoji icons becomes available with the new update. There is also the ability to wireless print from the Note 3, and new location settings. There were also several upgrades included, such as to Google apps and services and Samsung Gear manager.
Users have known about the pending system upgrade since January, when it was announced and began to be released by Samsung. However, although many users all around the world were able to update their system to the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat, many others were lagging behind, quite literally. Users were originally unsure if the Galaxy Note 3 would be included in the devices receiving the update, since it was not originally listed by Samsung as a receiver. Only the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A were officially announced as receivers of the new Kitkat software.
Google is set to release a brand-new Android update sometime later this year called Android L, and while techies everywhere are eagerly anticipating it, it is still unclear whether the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be among the devices to receive it. Since the device is still less than a year old, however, it is likely that it will be able to count itself among those that receive Android L.
