Experience The Soulfully Sanctified Voice Of Tracey Troy New Single "Leave It Alone"

Tracey Troy is a nationally known teacher, evangelist, pastor, and vocalist. Her musical journey began with her family quartet group, Chariot Singers of Hallsboro. She then develop her vocal recording skills on demo tracks and as a background vocalist working with Pastor Shirley Caesar and on the OWN Network/Lionsgate TV hit series Greenleaf season one soundtrack.
She released her debut single,"Healing God," in 2020 and has returned with a new single "Leave It Alone."
"Leave It Alone" is produced by musical architect Cedric Thompson. The single is soaked in blues, zydeco, and bounce flavors, transporting listeners into an old-school church atmosphere rich with the sounds of French Creole culture.
"Working with Pastor Tracey Troy on her project was a no-brainer and has been easy as we have known each other since we were teenagers," says GRAMMY® Award-winning Producer Cedric Thompson. "I knew the sound I wanted to capture was a good ole foot-stomping church experience. I wanted to treat the sonics to make the listener feel like they are part of a good church service and paying homage to the days of what I call The 5:00 Choir Anniversary."
Cedric continues, "Leave It Alone captures that moment and presents the opportunity for everyone to enjoy as Pastor Tracey delivers a great presentation."
"Leave It Alone" is available now on all digital outlets. Tracey's single lyrically captures her recent journey of trials and surrender to God, knowing that only He could restore and renew after she released all things to Him.
"The past few years represented a lot of loss, anxiety, and intense stress for me," Pastor Tracey shares. "I lost people in my life due to sickness, tragedies, jealousy, and betrayal. I have never had to fight loneliness and depression as I have the last two years.
She explains, "Both of my parents were fighting major illnesses (Cancer and Parkinson's) at the same time, and I am the only child who lives near them. I started therapy due to the stress levels of ministry, life, and the traumatic experiences of grief. Counseling taught me to set boundaries and not see myself as a superwoman who could fix everybody's needs. I had to let go of my pride and give everything to God. I began to sing an old congregational song to myself - Leave it Alone, leave it alone, God is gonna fix it better than you can, leave it alone."
Tracey is the founder of Tracey Troy Ministries Inc. and pastor of Victory In Jesus Ministries in Whiteville, NC, and Myrtle Beach, SC. Her extensive travels for over 30 years leading revivals, workshops, crusades, and seminars throughout the United States and overseas have broadened her desire to spread the gospel even more. She has partnered with several apostolic teams to help evangelize church plants overseas in the Caribbean, and most recently, her ministry will partner with India and Pakistan to eventually plant a ministry site.
