Cory Asbury to Host “Texas on My Mind” Benefit Concert for Flood Relief Efforts

Worship leader and recording artist Cory Asbury is stepping up to support flood-affected families in Texas with "Texas on My Mind," a special benefit concert happening Monday, July 21 at The Basement East in Nashville.
The evening will feature a wide lineup of guest artists joining Asbury on stage in a powerful night of music, community, and compassion.
"When we first heard about the devastation in Texas, my team and I felt a profound call to action; these are our brothers and sisters, and they need our help right now," Asbury shared. "Music has always served as a bridge to hope, and there is no better time than now to bring that hope into a very dire situation."
All proceeds from the event will go directly toward relief efforts in Texas, including rebuilding homes, refilling food pantries, and restoring daily essentials for families impacted by the floods.
In addition to the live show, Asbury and his team are launching an online auction featuring exclusive signed memorabilia from top athletes. Contributions have already poured in from the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Derek Carr, Russell Wilson, and Golden Tate, including signed footballs, jerseys, and other collectibles.
"A lot of athletes are sending stuff in-signed footballs, basketballs, and jerseys that will all be up for auction," Asbury said. "It's a way for people who can't make the show to still contribute meaningfully."
Asbury, known for heartfelt worship anthems like "Reckless Love" and "Dear God," sees this moment as a chance for the Church and music community to offer more than just words.
"Gathering in Nashville to sing, worship and rally support is our tangible way of reminding these families that they are not alone and that love always shows up," he added.
Tickets for "Texas on My Mind" are available now, and auction details will be released soon via Cory Asbury's official social media channels.
