Experience Faith, Courage, and Hope in "Disciples in the Moonlight," Streaming Exclusively on Angel Oct. 16

Angel (NYSE: ANGX), the groundbreaking media and technology company powered by over 1.6 million grassroots Angel Guild members championing values-based storytelling, is proud to announce that the powerful new thriller Disciples in the Moonlight will debut exclusively on the Angel streaming platforms beginning tomorrow, October 16.
"After the overwhelming support the film received from the Angel Guild, we are thrilled to welcome Disciples in the Moonlight to the Angel family," said David Fischer, Director of Acquisitions & Business Affairs at Angel. "This is more than entertainment-it's a bold, timely story that speaks deeply to our mission of uplifting values-rooted voices. To offer this film exclusively on our platform is a privilege. Audiences will be engaged, challenged, and inspired when it becomes available October 16."
Set in a dystopian near-future America where the true Bible has been outlawed and replaced by a government-approved version, Disciples in the Moonlight follows a brave group of seven believers from Indiana who risk everything to deliver authentic scripture to underground churches-defying authorities determined to silence them.
The gripping, emotionally charged film explores themes of faith, courage, and sacrifice amid persecution and moral decay. It stars Brett Varvel (County Rescue, American Underdog), Todd Terry (The Unbreakable Boy, Breaking Bad), Jason Coviello (Juror #2), Micah Lynn Hanson (Divine Influencer, A Match Made at Christmas), Josh Strychalski (Out of Babel), Stephanie Parker (Lifemark), and Myles Clohessy (Christmas vs. the Walters).
Varvel also directed the film, with Strychalski penning the screenplay.
"Telling this story has been a labor of love and a cry from my heart," said Brett Varvel. "I've called this movie my love letter to the church of Jesus Christ-to awaken us all to live boldly for the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Making Disciples in the Moonlight was an act of faith, and having it premiere exclusively on Angel means we have a trusted home where its message can truly resonate. I'm eager to see how audiences respond and pray it sparks deeper conversation and commitment."
Disciples in the Moonlight premieres October 16, streaming exclusively on Angel.com and the Angel Studios apps worldwide.
