MATTHEWS Unveils Moment of Infinite Hope on “Broken Forever"

Curb Records newcomer MATTHEWS unveils a moment of infinite hope on "Broken Forever," out today (10/10) - listen HERE. Offering a reminder that seasons change and every circumstance is temporary MATTHEWS pairs an R&B groove and emotional depth with a soaring vocal that attests to God's ability to turn weeping into dancing and ashes into beauty.
A song for the wounded, the hopeless and the lost, "Broken Forever" stands as a welcome porch light, beckoning the weary soul home. The South African multi-instrumentalist wrote the track with Michael Farren and Tedd T., who also co-produced the ballad with MATTHEWS. "Broken Forever" follows on the heels of MATTHEWS' feel-good debut, "Don't Stop 'Til." Watch the animated lyric video for his first funky original HERE.
With his earliest connection to music deeply rooted in the church, the multi-instrumentalist co-wrote RIAA Platinum-certified hit "Here As In Heaven" and Gold-certified singles "Resurrecting" and "Echo," cementing his reputation as a gifted songwriter and powerful singer. Now, he's stepping into a bold new era as a solo artist, melding his diverse musical influences with his honest, conversational lyrical style to create authentic, hopeful art that reminds listeners light can always be found - even in the darkest of moments.
