Michael Schumacher Latest condition updates and rumors: Schumacher to Lead Normal Life after Recovery According to Jean Todt
When we last left off, Michael Schumacher had been transferred to his home after leaving the medical facility in Lausanne just 24 miles from his residence. His wife Corinna had already prepared an in house facility that will cater to his recovery requirements for the meantime. It seems things are looking up for the legend as former Ferrari boss and FIA president Jean Todt even mentioned that he was fighting within his recovery. The Formula One legend had suffered from serious head injuries after skiing accident took place in France last year and left him in a medically induced coma.
The only thing according to Todt, "He will probably no longer be able to drive in Formula One. Voilà, that's what we can say," he told broadcaster RTL. Todt who became close friends with Schumacher during their time at Ferrari delivered some promising news after recently visiting the seven time formula one champion at his residence. According to a statement that he gave, "We may assume that Schumacher can live a relatively normal life within a short period of time. " The recovery curve for Schumacher has been good all things being considered. It seems that the basic goal was that he returns to normal functionality and social awareness, even though racing at his former professional level may remain just a dream henceforth.
After all, there is nothing to regret, the formula one former champion has been so consecutively and earned legend status even more than the likes of James Hunt and Nikki Lauda from the seventies of the McLaren and Ferrari teams respectively. The good thing is that all through the recovery process, Schumacher and his family maintained a sense of privacy even though we receive news of his progress every now and them. Todt also added that Schumacher and his family should be left so that treatment and recovery may continue in private. He finished saying "I believe that what is important is that he is living, that his family is close to him, that we really believe that things will improve."
