Anne Wilson Releases First Devotional Book: "Hey Girl: You Are Seen, Loved, And Made for More"

PLATINUM-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson is expanding her message of hope and identity beyond her music with the release of her first devotional, Hey Girl: You Are Seen, Loved, and Made for More via K-LOVE books. Known for her honest, soul-baring storytelling, as well as her bestselling book My Jesus: From Heartache to Hope, Wilson now turns her voice toward a 40-day journey created to help young women discover their true worth and unshakeable identity in Christ. Yesterday, 200 young fans got a first glimpse of both the devotional and the record at Wilson's Hey Girl High Tea event in Franklin, Tenn.
"My brand-new Hey Girl Devotional for teen girls is out now, and I couldn't be more excited," shares Wilson. "Writing this has been such a prayerful journey, and my biggest hope is that every girl who reads it feels seen, loved and reminded of her worth in Jesus. You don't have to have it all together - He already calls you His. My prayer is that these pages bring you closer to His heart and give you courage to live boldly in who He's made you to be! You can grab your copy everywhere books are sold!"
Through Scripture, encouragement, journal prompts and heartfelt prayers, Wilson shares personal stories of comparison, grief and doubt to remind readers they're not alone and that Jesus meets them right where they are. Tackling real-life struggles like insecurity, friendship drama, purpose and finding peace in Him, Hey Girl invites middle school, high school and college-aged readers - or anyone needing a reminder - to live free, walk in victory and know they are deeply loved. The devotional takes its name from Wilson's 2021 hit song "Hey Girl" and the growing Hey Girl Nation community she's built online - a safe, uplifting space where young women can connect, find encouragement and celebrate that their worth is defined in Christ alone. While inviting readers into the 40-day journey of Hey Girl, Wilson is also readying her highly anticipated third album Stars, arriving Oct. 17 via Capitol Christian Music Group. She recently introduced the project with its title track - a song that threads together her childhood dream of becoming an astronaut with the real-life journey she has walked: grappling with the loss of her brother Jacob, choosing to hold onto faith in the aftermath and learning to see God's presence reflected in both the night sky and her own story.
Across its 12 tracks - all co-written by Wilson - Stars finds the Kentucky native stepping fully into her own as a storyteller, blending the grit of country with the hope of faith in a way that is entirely her own. The coming-of-age collection brings together frequent collaborators Jeff Pardo and Matthew West, alongside Trannie Anderson, Blake Pendergrass, Emily Weisband and Andy Albert. Wilson will bring the new songs to life on The STARS Tour, beginning Oct. 18 in Nashville at The Pinnacle. Tickets are available now at annewilsonofficial.com. With Stars on the horizon, Wilson delivers her most panoramic work yet - a record of grief and growth, wonder that refuses to dim and faith that continues to guide her forward.
